The handset allows the user to independently control the bed to transition from lying in bed to seated position, and then rotate and stand up from the bed. When rotating and transferring in or out of the bed, the hand rails provide additional safety and assurance to the user. The Alerta Lomond Rotate to stand up bed also has a battery backup, which ensures that the bed does not become stuck in a sitting position in the event of a power failure. Included with the bed is a memory foam articulated mattress. The memory foam mattress conforms to your body to provide optimal pressure relief and support.
